Jason W. Ketter appointed director of development

Jason W. Ketter brings nearly 20 years of experience to his new post as director of development at Penn State Harrisburg.

The appointment of Ketter, most recently the vice president of institutional advancement at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, was announced by Penn State Harrisburg Chancellor Madlyn L. Hanes.

In his new post, Ketter will oversee development and alumni relations. He succeeds Marie-Louise Abram, who has been appointed the college’s director of international programs and external relations.

While at Delaware Valley, Ketter launched the public phase of a fundraising campaign which garnered more than $10 million and was the first successful such effort in the college’s history. He previously served in development posts at Albright College and Valley Forge Military Academy and College.

Ketter resides in Reading with his wife, Nayana, and their two children, Nishantha and Nishani. He also comes Penn State Harrisburg with international experience, having served as a consultant and university lecturer in the Sultanate of Oman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Iowa, a master of public administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and an MBA from Kutztown University.
