March 28 ‘Boobies Ball’ to raise funds in cancer fight

A public “Boobies Ball” to fund cancer awareness and research is coming to Penn State Harrisburg Friday, March 28.

All proceeds raised at the 8 p.m. to midnight dance in the Capital Union Building will be donated to the Middletown-based Feel Your Boobies Foundation. The third annual fund-raiser is sponsored and hosted by the college’s student Lion Ambassador organization.

The cost is $5 per person and music will be provided by a local DJ.

The aim of the event is to bring the campus and external community together to raise funds for the awareness effort. Joining the Lion Ambassadors will be Leigh Hurst, founder of Feel Your Boobies, which focuses on creating products to raise awareness and educate women about the importance of breast self-exams.
