Michael Fiaschetti honored by Beta Gamma Sigma

Michael Fiaschetti, senior vice president of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Highmark Inc., is the Penn State Harrisburg chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma 2008 Distinguished Honoree.

With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in the health insurance industry, Fiaschetti earned an MBA from Penn State Harrisburg in 2004. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and has held his present position at Highmark since 1997.

He is a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

Fiaschetti was honored at the recent induction ceremony of the student chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for undergraduate and graduate students.

A resident of Harrisburg, he currently serves as President of the Board of the Southcentral Regional Chapter of The Second Mile, a member of the board of directors of Harrisburg University, as a member of the board of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania, and the Inter-County Health Plan.
