Matthew Woessner serving as Faculty Senate president

Associate Professor of Public Policy Matthew Woessner will serve as president of the Penn State Harrisburg Faculty Senate for the 2008-09 academic year.

Serving as president-elect for the year is Professor of Humanities and English Matthew Wilson.

Elected to two-year terms on the Senate are:

• Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering Sedig Agili;
• Associate Professor of Accounting Jean Harris;
• Associate Professor of Health Education Raffy Luquis;
• Assistant Professor of Education Martha Strickland;
• Associate Professor of Adult Education Edward Taylor.

Serving the second year of their two-year terms are:

• Assistant Professor of Accounting Thomas Amlie;
• Director of the Library Gregory Crawford;
• Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Donald Hummer;
• Assistant Professor of Humanities and Communication Catherine Rios.

The non-voting member will be Associate Professor of Criminal Justice James Ruiz, the University Faculty Senate Representative.
