Academic Scholarships
Important Instructions: Applicants applying for academic scholarships at Penn State Harrisburg must complete this form as well as all admissions requirements, a 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and a personal biographical essay. FAFSA forms are available on the FAFSA website. The recommended deadline for the FAFSA form is February 15, 2009. NOTE: No application will be considered unless the results of their 2009-2010 FAFSA has been received at Penn State by April 1, 2009. Students will receive an award notification during the month of May.
A 3.0 cumulative grade point average is the absolute minimum for consideration. In addition to grade point average and demonstrated financial need, the scholarship committee will consider the student's service to college and/or community.
The Financial Aid Office must receive the scholarship application by April 1, 2009. Late applications will not be considered.
