Penn State Harrisburg participates in a number of Job Fairs during the Academic Year. Fall Career Days 2008: Billed as "the largest Campus-based career fair in the country". University Park, Bryce Jordan Center, Monday through Friday, Sept 15-19, 2008.
Structural Design/Construction Engineering Technology Career Fair: Hosted by the Penn State Harrisburg Structural Design/Construction Engineering Technology department, Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm., in the Capital Union Building (CUB) - Student Center, Penn State Harrisburg.
Capital Region Co-op/Intern: Penn State Harrisburg, Capital Union Building (CUB), Tuesday, October 28, 2008, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Over 100 employers with co-op and internship opportunities. All majors welcome!
Cumberland Valley Consortium Teacher Fair: Thursday, November 12, 2008, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the College Union Building on the campus of Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA. Students and alumni from the member colleges (Penn State Harrisburg is a member college) may participate in the fair.
Middle Atlantic Association for Employment in Education Teacher Fair: Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center, Lancaster, PA from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Sponsored by the Middle Atlantic Association for Employment in Education Open to all teacher candidates (a $5 participation fee will be charged at the door).
Cumberland Valley Consortium (CVC) Job/Intern and Graduate School Fair: Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the Gettysburg Wyndham Hotel, Gettysburg, PA. This is a chance to meet with representatives from business, non-profit and governmental organizations from 10:00 am to
2:00 pm and participate in optional interviews from 2:15 pm to 4:00 pm (by employer invite only). Additionally, new for this year is the Graduate School Expo from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm providing participants the opportunity to meet with representatives from graduate schools. Spring Career Day 2009: Penn State University is sponsoring a Spring Job Fair that will attract 200 plus employers! The event is being held on three days this year on the University Park campus –
- Sunday, February 15, 2009, Steppin Up: Diversity Networking Event, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the HUB Robeson Center.
- Monday, February 16, 2009, Business & Finance, Communications & Design, General Management, Human Services, Liberal Arts, and Sales & Marketing Recruiting, 11:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Bryce Jordan Center.
- Tuesday, February 17, 2009, Computer & Information Technology, Engineering, Health & Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Research Recruiting, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Bryce Jordan Center.

Central Pennsylvania Employment Consortium (CPEC) Job/Intern Fair: Radisson Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center, Camp Hill, PA, Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Co-sponsored by Penn State Harrisburg, and thirteen other colleges and universities. Over 100 companies and organizations recruiting for full-time, co-op and internships.
Penn State Education Career Day, Monday, March 30, 2009, from 9am-4:30pm at Penn State University, PA (Penn Stater Conference Center). Format of the day: 9am-12 Noon (open fair); 10am-4:30pm (interviews). The event is open to all candidates (PSU students/alumni may attend beginning at 9am; non-PSU candidates may attend beginning at 11am). Teacher Recruitment Day (TRD): Links to the school districts participating in the 23nd Annual TRD, Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Pucillo Gymnasium at Millersville University. This is an opportunity for education majors who are seeking teaching positions to meet with representatives from over 90 school districts from across the nation.
