Kathyrn Ondisco says the best thing that ever happened to her was meeting her soul mate. She says her indescribable connection to her boyfriend has allowed her to see herself in a whole new light.

“I never met anyone I was connected to,” she explained. “He has changed me very much for the better.”  Ondisco said.  She was always one to keep to herself, yet still lived life on a whim.  Her impulsive ways guided her life until last July when she met Bobby.

Bobby and Ondisco had identical personalities, yet they did not clash.  In fact, it aided in a mutual understanding of each other.  Ondisco said that now she is settled.  “I no longer pick up and go. . . I have fallen into place,” she said.  “I am able to understand myself better by being completely in love.”

Is she happy with the ‘new her‘?  “Oh yes,” she said. “This is how I always wanted to be, I just didn’t know how until I met Bobby.”  She explained that she had some growing up to do.  Running around with her sorority sisters and going to bars was once her life, but she said that is now a thing of the past.

“I am doing all the things I didn’t think I would do because of Bobby.  Including playing the guitar,” she said.  While Ondisco said she does not know a whole song yet, she enjoys her new creative outlet.  She said her life has followed this pattern since meeting him, taking a much-needed turn for the better.

“I used to do things for the sake of doing them,” she said. “but I never knew why I was doing them.”  She mentioned joining the cheerleading squad in high school as her main example.  She said her decision to join the squad was definitely not something she had planned to do, but rather something she fell into.

She said Bobby has helped her follow a narrower path in life.  By loving her, he has helped her to settle down and figure out what she needs to do now and for the future.

While she says she is still uncertain about her career goals, she is certain about one thing:  marrying Bobby.  There is no date set yet, but she says, “we’ll get married when the time is right.”

“It’s not exactly fairy tale,” she said with a widening grin, “but I am waiting for someone to snap me out of this great dream I am in.”
