Environmental Pollution Control Program

Admission Requirements

The EPC Program is designed for students with backgrounds in science or engineering who have at least a 3.0 undergraduate junior/senior grade-point average. Applicant must take the three-part (verbal, quantitative, analytical) Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Two undergraduate courses each in calculus, general physics, and basic chemistry are required for admission. If a student is accepted with a deficiency in any undergraduate coursework, he/she is expected to complete that coursework within the first two semesters for a full-time student and within the first four semesters for a part-time student. Courses taken to correct deficiencies do not apply toward the 30-credit master’s degree requirement.
