Environmental Pollution Control Program

Registration

A graduate student must register for each semester (including Summer Session if the student is using University facilities, faculty time, etc.) until the degree is conferred. Registration as a full-time student is required for each student who is receiving assistantship support. Full-time status is defined as:

Fall/Spring Semester
Summer Session
1/4-time assistantship
9-14 credits/semester
5-7 credits
1/2-time assistantship
9-12 credits/semester
4-6 credits
3/4-time assistantship
6-8 credits/semester
3-5 credits

Students holding fellowships, traineeships, or other awards are required to carry nine (9) or more credits each semester and five (5) or more during the summer session.

If all curricular requirements are completed prior to the beginning of the semester in which the student will be graduating, the student is not required to register for that semester.
