Centrifugal Pump Basics, Trouble Shooting, Maintenance, and Repair: This course is targeted for operators of water and wastewater systems including the distribution and collection systems. It is probably below the knowledge level of maintenance personnel at these systems, although it will be a good introduction for new personnel. The experience range for the operators should be between beginning and intermediate.

This training course will focus only on centrifugal pumps. It is a basic two-day hands-on course, which will include pumps for tear down and repair and a working model that demonstrates cavitation. (1.0 CEU's - Continuing Education Units)
