Day Pass Rates

One Day Pass:

$5.00

One Day Passes my be purchased and used by COMMUNITY ADULTS only and the adult purchasing the pass must be accompanied by a current member or current student. One day passes may also be purchased by immediate family of faculty, staff and students.

Sale of One Day Passes limited to when two lifeguards are in the building.

5 Day Pass:

$20.00

5 Day Passes may be purchased and used by COMMUNITY ADULTS or children of faculty, staff and students only. Parents must attend and supervise their children. 5 Day Passes are not transferable - they may only be used by the person whose name appears on the pass.

10 Day Pass:

$40.00

10 Day Passes may be purchased and used by COMMUNITY ADULTS or children of faculty, staff and students only. Parents must attend and supervise their children. 10 Day Passes are not transferable - they may only be used by the person whose name appears on the pass.

Open / Lap Swim Times

Open/Lap — Four lanes are available for lap swimming and a two lane area is open for water walking, exercising, therapy, and recreational swimming.

Lap Swim - 6 lanes are available for lap swimming only. *During this time and to insure all patrons have the opportunity to swim, a circle swim system will be required.

The Pool

The Aquatic Center swimming pool is handicap accessible and designed to permit maximum use for lap swimming, water fitness programs swimming lessons, and leisure. The 9,000-square-foot facility is 37 x 75 feet and provides a six-lane lap pool with depths ranging from four feet to six feet four inches. Water temperature is maintained between 83-84 degrees.

Locker Room Facilities

Lockers and locks may be reserved by students enrolled in Kinesiology classes. Community members may use lockers on a daily basis only and must provide their own lock. Children under the age of 5 may accompany a parent of the opposite gender into their locker room. Children 5 and up must use their appropriate gender locker room or make use of the single restroom on the pool deck

Rentals

Part or all of the swimming pool may be rented as long as the activity is appropriate for the facility. All rentals must be scheduled in advance with the Aquatics Coordinator. Rental rates vary according to group size, amount of pool time requested and whether the rental will occur during normal operating hours. Call the Aquatic Center for more information on renting the pool.

Parking on Campus

A fee of $1 a day or a $20 parking permit, which expires December 31st, can be purchased to park on the Penn State Harrisburg campus. Affiliate permits can be secured at the Vehicle Registration Office, located in 47 Swatara Building. For further information please call 948-6232
