Educators and environmentalists interested in studying coral reefs can take advantage of a Penn State Harrisburg Continuing Education-sponsored study tour to Honduras in July 2009.
The July 1 to 11 educational program, an outreach service of the college’s School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, will examine coral reefs and coral reef habitats, whale sharks, mangroves, flora and fauna, and human activity on the island of Utila, a part of the Bay Islands Archipelago, 30 miles off the Caribbean coast.
