Asked Questions
1. Where do I go to download the software and how do I download it?
a. See or email your program administrator. This is currently Linda Null lmn3@psu.edu for Computer Science and David Kitlan dpk104@psu.edu for School of Business.
2. If you continue to have problems with downloading the software after
contacting Drs Null or Kitlan, please escalate the problem to
support@e-academy.com. Mention
in your email that you've already contacted your program administrator and they
have been unable to solve the problem.
3. I do not have my printout invoice. Can I still receive the software?
a. Yes. Go to a computer classroom and click on the link provided in your email.
b. Log in.
c. Click “My Software” button
d. You will see the date ordered, software title, and deliverable.
e. Click the deliverable that you need to print
f. Print the page
5. Can I download the software in a computer classroom?
a. No but...
b. Exception: If the deliverable is an ISO* image, for example: Visual Studio
.NET Pro 2002 - ISO Image - CD1 you may then download the software to a CD.
c. Exception: If the deliverable is not an ISO image you can download the
software to a temporary directory. Ask the helpdesk to show you where the
temporary directory is.
4. I downloaded the software, tried to install it and the key didn't work.
a. Ask you program administrator to issue you a new key.
