All employees, students and retirees at Penn State University will be required to change their access ID password annually. This is the password used to check email, login to eLion to view or assign grades and login to ANGEL. Click HERE for more information.

Q: Are the Friends of Penn State accounts included with this change?
Q: Are Local Area Network accounts at Penn State Harrisburg included with this change?
A: The change only affects the Access Accounts. Your Local Area Network Account at Penn State Harrisburg already has a requirement to change the password.
Q: Does the 365-day clock automatically re-set every time you change your password?
A: Yes
Q: Is there something in place if someone forgets their password?
A: Yes, you will have to go to the helpdesk to have your password reset and then visit a signature station for a new password.
Q: Will people be prompted one year after the password change regarding the new expiration?
A: Yes, a reminder will be sent four week prior to the new expiration date.
Q: Are retirees affected?
A: Yes. Retirees will be affected. Instructional and Information Technologies mailed a note to retirees last year through the HR office at Penn State Harrisburg.
