Wireless technology allows the user to send signals to an access point to relay information. The user uses a program to send a signal to a router/access point. The access point then transmits that information to the hardware that sends packets of information to the internet. Then everything works in reverse order. The internet sends back the information requested by the user to the hardware. The hardware then sends the information to the router/access point. The router/access point then sends information to the program. The program then translates the information to something the user will understand.
