Students in an Advanced Graphic Design course paid
tribute to the Nittany Lion by designing and installing a colorful mosaic of Post-It Notes in the Penn
State Harrisburg Library. Mounted on a wall in the stairwell between the second and third floors of the
library, the artwork was on display for several weeks.
The likeness of Penn State's mascot consisted of more than 1,600 Post-Its in various shades of yellow and orange. Students constructed the art installation as part of a course taught by Craig Welsh, instructor in art and communications.
