The Penn State Harrisburg Library's Archives and Special Collections consists of two major collections, the Alice Marshall Women's History Collection and the Center for Pennsylvania Culture Studies Collection.

Penn State Harrisburg has established a new grant program to support visiting scholars and graduate students who need to use materials held by Archives and Special Collections. Collections

The Alice Marshall Women's History Collection, considered the most comprehensive, privately compiled collection of women's history materials in the United States, was acquired by Penn State in 1991.

The Center for Pennsylvania Culture Studies Collection, which was transferred to the library in 2005, provides resources for the study of Pennsylvania's cultural heritage.
